Cook along,
not just monitor.

Project BBQ is being built to bring the method, live temperatures and the actions that matter into one cook.

Use your own way of cooking or, as Project BBQ develops, follow a Cook Plan from a creator you trust. The aim is to help you through the real cook — not just show you a temperature.

The cook comes first. Thermometers provide useful measurements; Project BBQ is being developed around what you're actually cooking.

Why Project BBQ is different

A cooking video can show you the method. Project BBQ is being built to help you cook it.

Imagine following a creator's pulled-pork cook. Instead of jumping between their video, a recipe page, your thermometer app and notes, the Cook Plan can travel through the cook with you.

The creator's method and relevant video stay at the centre. Live temperatures feed into the cook, and Project BBQ is designed to prompt you when it's time to check the bark, mop, wrap, turn, change temperature or move to the next stage.

You provide the judgement. Project BBQ helps keep the cook on track.
